Note from Susan of Sports Basement -

You may or may not be aware, but I am on a Steering Events Committee for the Bay Area Women's Sports Initiative (BAWSI...sounds like "bossy"). BAWSI is an organization that creates programs and partnerships through which women athletes bring health, hope and wholeness to the community. We also do everything in our power to promote girl's and women's sports. Therefore, we are on a mission to fill the seats at the Pac-10 Women's Basketball Tournament at the HP Pavilion during the first weekend in March. Specifically, there is a March 3rd event called "Ladies Night Out." For $30, you can enjoy the evening that includes tickets to two games, drinks (cosmos!), fancy hors d'oeuvres, and some poker/casino games (the tickets alone would be $25, so for an extra $5 you get to be a part of some fun times!) Please take a look at the attached flyer and feel free to forward it on to anyone else that you think might be interested. Also, please be sure to have them mention my name (Susan Armenta) when purchasing the tickets as there is a little friendly in-group competition going on to see which of us can get the most people to come to the event!
